Basebaraus was founded in 2017 with a simple but powerful vision: to address the growing need for financial literacy in Ghana. Our founder, Akosua Mensah, witnessed firsthand how lack of financial knowledge was impacting families and communities across the country.
After conducting extensive research and consulting with financial experts, educators, and community leaders, Akosua developed a hands-on program focused on practical financial education that could be easily understood and applied by ordinary Ghanaians.
What began as a small workshop in Tamale has now grown into a nationwide initiative reaching thousands of individuals and families across Ghana. Our team has expanded to include financial educators, curriculum developers, and community outreach specialists all dedicated to our mission of financial empowerment.
Today, Basebaraus offers a range of financial education products and programs designed to help Ghanaians at all levels develop financial literacy, understand credit use, and build future financial security. Our approach combines traditional financial wisdom with modern financial tools, creating culturally relevant resources that address the specific needs of our communities.
